Agh...I just heard one of my least favorite clichéd comments on the radio. It usually goes like this.
Person 1: I think we could get a lot more accomplished by having a dialogue and trying to come to some understanding with them, to defuse the situation rather than escalating it.
Person 2: What do you want to do, hold hands and sing Kumbaya with them?
Stop implying that I want to sing 'Kumbaya'! It's tiresome!
Oh sure, I imagine you'd like to live in a world with dancing rainbows and happy little butterflies. Time for a reality check, Straw Man!
