Truth in advertising on Craig's List

Even though we moved into our new apartment on Tuesday (yay), I still occasionally check out the Craig's List ads for fun.  I was impressed by the honesty of this one:

"So as not to waste your time or mine, you should know that this unit is very 1980. Although everything works and is clean, few aesthetic improvements have been made. The living and dining area are parcay [sic] flooring with the bedrooms being carpeted."

 Fair enough!

Watercolor TV


Back in ye olde tymes before Photoshop, illustrators got a lot of work. One type of illustration I remember seeing often was the "watercolor painting copy of a photo". They were usually interesting, but sometimes it was a puzzle to see who the pictures were supposed to represent. Here are a couple of examples from early seventies British record compilations of TV themes. A few of the same people are in both. Can you match them up?
