Crappy Christmas gifts of the 70s

Did you ever get these as a child? I remember getting second place in an art contest where I was supposed to get a $10 prize, but they gave me a couple of books of these, instead. It was like "Hello, I'm a kid--I don't buy my own food! I need cash for toys and comic books."

  1. Yeah--lame!

Wouldn't it be funny if that kid was someone who grew up to be well-known? He looks a bit like Corey Feldman, but it's probably not.

  2. It's definitely Corey Feldman. I knew it when I saw him and Wikipedia confirms it.

"Feldman started his career at the age of three, appearing in a McDonald's commercial. In his youth he appeared in over 100 television commercials, and appeared on 50 tv shows, from "Mork and Mindy" to "Eight is Enough", to "One day at a time".

  3. Good catch, you two! Here's your reward: a 50¢ gift certificate. Enjoy!

  4. OMG! I can't believe it was really him!! :D

Aww, it makes me feel sort of bad for poor Corey. His parents sure messed him up good by putting him in all those commercials.
