Mr. Big Shot's Office

This is where Foulard goes so that people will pay him! There's a big tree outside the window that's getting nice and fall-colorsy...

Fall is here!

A little late, but I'll take it!

Fall weather on the way for Washington

The Associated Press

Fall weather is on the way for Washington.

The National Weather Service says rain along the coast will move inland by Monday night.

A chance of showers continues through the week with high temperatures in the 60s and lows in the 40s in Western Washington.

Forecasters say cooler, cloudier weather will move into Eastern Washington by Tuesday with high temperatures in the 60s and lows in the 30s.

There's a chance of snow at higher mountain elevations.

Summer making warm exit in Washington

The Associated Press

Low temperatures overnight dropped into the 30s in parts of Eastern Washington, but the National Weather Service says high temperatures will be above normal for a couple of days in the state.

Forecasters say a high pressure system moving over the Northwest will bring sunshine and unusually warm temperatures in the 80s for the last day of summer Monday and the first day of autumn Tuesday.

Forecasters say clouds will move into Western Washington by midweek, dropping the temperatures. Skies should remain clear for most of the week in Eastern Washington.

We're supposed to have a high of 86° tomorrow. Have I not suffered enough?

Saturday, August 22

I am tired of Summer on Summit Ave.

I would feel differently if I was on the beach in Rio, methinks!

Today is Sunday...

I say!

I shall miss the heat! Fetch me another pink gin--I shall be attending to my correspondence on the verandah.

Here's a picture of me and how well I'm dealing with the weather. (I'm the one in the middle)

Anyone Who Had a Heart

I heard this again last night at Nordstrom while trying to stay out of the 100 degree heat. The version I heard was live solo piano, but here's a mod-looking Czech version from 1967:
